In 2017, JJ MES started shipping container business in South Africa.
In 2019, JJMES DMCC was established in Dubai. In order to develop both Middle East and Africa shipping container business.
Mr. Watson joined JJ MES in 2017 and assisted the container business teams in developing container sales, leasing and One-Way leasing businesses in the African region.
Here are our container business areas: South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Angola, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Egypt and Senegal.
Q: How many areas are you in charge of now?
A: Currently, we are active in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco, and Egypt.
Q: Introduce your container business content?
A: Mostly we are doing buying and selling of containers. We normally move our containers from China, India, Europe and Middle East to Africa.We are buying containers directly from shipping lines, forwarding companies, local companies.
Q: Do you have any plans for the future development of the African market?
A: Our goal is to develop the whole continent. Africa has 54 countries and now we are only doing business in 5 countries.
We might open an office in Africa, if all goes well. We might try to employ more colleagues.
Q: What motto would you like to share with everybody?
A: You just need to love what you do. Because if you love what you do, and nothing can bring you down!
Yeah, so yeah, that's the MOTTO I can give, and also, you need to practice a lot, because the business can be very tiring.So you just need to keep yourself active. That's what I can tell you to do.
